1. Who we are
Tips & Tricks is an educational mobile and web app focused on academic revision content (study notes, MCQs, exam tips) for OB/GYN professionals and trainees.
2. What data we collect
The app is designed to be privacy-first:
- No account is required to use the app.
- No personal information (name, email, phone, location, photos) is collected.
- No patient data is collected, processed or stored.
- No advertising IDs are read.
- No third-party analytics or tracking SDKs are integrated.
3. Data stored on your device
For the app to remember your progress, the following is stored locally on your device only (browser localStorage / app storage), and is never uploaded to any server:
- Your current quiz/question index and score.
- Your accessibility preferences (reduced motion, larger text).
- Your acceptance of the Terms & Disclaimer.
You can clear this data at any time by clearing the app storage from your device's system settings, or by uninstalling the app.
4. Permissions
The app does not request access to your camera, microphone, contacts, location, photos, SMS, call logs or files. The only optional permission is local notifications (used solely for in-app study reminders, never for marketing).
5. Children
The app is intended for users aged 18 and above (medical professionals and adult students). It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any data from minors.
6. Third-party services
The app does not integrate third-party advertising, analytics, or social-media SDKs. The web version is hosted on Lovable's static hosting infrastructure, which may keep standard server access logs (IP address, user-agent, timestamp) for security and abuse prevention only — these logs are not used to profile users.
7. Educational scope & medical disclaimer
Content in the app is for educational and exam-preparation purposes only. It does not provide diagnosis, treatment recommendations, drug dosages, or patient-management advice. Users must rely on official guidelines and their own clinical judgement when caring for patients.
8. Your rights
Because we do not collect or store any personal data on our servers, there is no personal data to access, correct, export, or delete on our side. Locally stored progress can be cleared at any time from your device settings.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect any changes. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
